I used to do that commute back in '99. Bought a sportbike 'cause I knew driving it every day in a car would drive me nuts. By bike it took maybe 50 min, by car around 90. How's the commute like now?

Hi, I'm a new owner, if I see a posting with a firm date I'll try to make it. Since I decided to buy the car I've been looking around and other than on the dealer's lots I haven't seen any 8's. Would be cool to see a bunch of them together. I should be picking my baby up in the next couple of days... I sure hope she is ready by Saturday, I REALLY can't wait to just drive and drive and drive... I just love this car. Are there any other female owners in this area?

Also for those of you looking for specific colors, options etc, on the mazdausa website you can search the local inventory. I found my baby that way and told the dealership exactly where she was. They are able to confirm and I think they're pretty good about trading cars around etc. That way I didn't have to take a stripped down version and wait for the parts to come in. I got almost every single thing I wanted except for a few little trim items (fender strakes, etc). Now I'm broke, but I'm smiling!!! My new baby even already has the windows tinted. That was an added yet unexpected bonus....cost a couple bucks but well worth it.

I'll make a date for May!

Heya guys,

I'll totally make setup a time for us all to meet. This should be great! We can roll our beautiful RXs next to each other and ooh and ahhh at them. Weather should be nice and sunny at that too. Talk about future mods too if any are planned and grab something to eat at D and B.

So be on the look out for a date soon

Heya buddy,

I definitley enjoy the service over at OakTree Mazda and I've gotten to know the guys there pretty well. Talk to Byron Bautista at 408-553-0430. He's one of the main finance guys...I always like working with finance rather than sales. Mention my name and he'll take care of you. It's so great to see budding new owners.

Silver 1_RX8,

Love that silver RX! BTW I saw someone have a yellow RX and name her Roxanna...my RX is name Roxxie! I just lost my a notch in my manhood didn't I?

Rxphink,

A bayarea wide meeting would be nice! Let us southbay folks know when you have it together and maybe we could have a union of owners.
