Nice to see a few RX-8 owners from the south bay. I don't know who's blue RX that is but I'll pay attention next time I'm there. What do you guys think about having a little monthly gathering for us south bay 8 owners?

 

I used to live around there and now everytime I drive by, I see this nice blue RX-8 with appearance package. I think I've seen it driven by a guy around early 20's (my age group).

A weekly meet would be nice. Right now, I've only been showing up at a diff car meet. I'm the only RX-8 in the bunch.

Xyntax there is a Tue night meeting in Sunnyvale if you haven't ever checked that one out. I go there sometimes.

 

Yeah there is a tuesday night weekly meeting. I was thinking of just a monthly for people that can't make it on a tuesday night but would like a nice mini event on one saturday a month.

 

Yeah, Saturday's are ok. I have things going on for weeknights. I've been planning to check out that Sunnyvale meet, but never had the opportunity to have that night free.

 

I kind of figured you guys knew about the Tue meet but I'd thought I mention it just in case. I'd be down for a Saturday meet.

 

LG (sort of) Up in the mountais. I've see quite a few since I got mine in December. I too have been thinking about going to the Pizza place in Sunnyvale, but the nights don't really work for me either. Wednesday and Saturday would be better.

I'm in Vegas right now. Left this morning. Top speed so far is 127, too much traffic. I hope to get off on some side roads and open her up on the way home on Wednesday...

So looks like we have a few folks interested in a Saturday get together. I'm thinking May over at Dave and Buster's in Milpitas. We'll figure out a date. Small or large get together we'll gander at each others cars, laugh it up, have lunch inside, and get a few fun games in. How does that sound for a RX-8 Monthly meet?

I live in Los Gatos, but no RX8 yet. I've seen a couple RX8's roaming around Los Gatos here.

I've seen a Titanium Grey RX-8 with the RX8 grill in the front and chrome rims on los gatos almaden rd. Very nice 8, see it going to school and coming home from school once.

I've seen a Titanium Grey RX-8 down on of the streets off Los Gatos Almaden across from Leigh High School. I went down a road to go pickup my girlfriend and say a RX-8 parked in front of a house and had to go check it out.

Seen a blue RX-8 getting of 85 getting onto Bascom/Los Gatos Blvd.

Then last but not least, there is a senior at my school that drives a black RX-8. Very nice, walk by it every day going to my car and I get excited every time heh.

If any of those cars above is you, let me know! Maybe some of us could meet and you could give me a ride in you're 8, i'd really like to be able to ride in one!

 

I'm in Santa Cruz, but I commute to Menlo Park in a black RX-8.. so you can see me on 17, 85/101 and 280 on weekdays.

Hey sideswipe, Iwant to be a RX8 owner but having a hard
time getting what I want, I live in Almaden. I could not resist
the opportunity to jump in and ask you guys about the best
dealership, so far I've dealt w/ Al Sanchez in Gilroy who flat out
lied to me (shocking!) when they said they would order one for
me and then tried to push what they had , when I refused cause
it was not what I wanted they refused to order.

So can I get some local help here? Thanks Much!

I chat with the sales manager from time to time and am getting information for Kurt G as well. I'm stopping by later tonight at the dealership to pick up some goodies.

call iy dealership and ask to speak to the fleet mananger. They work by units ask them what is the best deal and they usually flat out tell you exactly how much without hassle. carsdirect.com helps too.

Pulling the trigger next week. I am keeping my options relatively open. Either black, green or titanium exterior, but MUST have the chapparal/black interior and GT. It all depends on what they have in stock.
