I posted this in the suspension forum as well, but will also post in here. I have contacted Hotchkis suspensions about possible parts for the 8 and was told they are interested, but would need an r&d car. They are located in Santa Fe Springs, California. If any body is interested let me know and I will get you in touch with the right person. He told me it would take him a couple of weeks until they had their monthly meeting, but they were definitly thinking about it. At first they want to do sway bars with more products after. I am guessing that who ever's car they used would get some free parts, but not sure what else.

Like I said, at first they want to do swaybars and then it will go may go from there depending on how well they sell. So the free parts would most likely be swaybars. The free parts thing is not coming directly from them but is usually the case when a company uses a persons car for r&d.

 

With R&D on sway bars how do they stress test the unit?

 

Also how long would they need the car for...or you can give us a # to call .

They'd probably beat the **** out of your car and you'd need new tires.......

 

I dont have any more details on this it is going to take a few weeks for him to get back to me. There are probably many small details that would need to be worked out individually between Hotchkis and the chose 8 owner such as the tires and any thing else. I will keep everybody updated on what I find out. If you are interested and have not sent me a PM please do that so that I will know you are interested.

 

OK, just to let everybody know who is watching this thread that I will not be able to find out any more info for three weeks. The guy I am working with will be out of town until then and said he would have an answer for me then. I will contact everybody who has PM'd me at that time.
