Hi guys,

Was originally shopping for an Evo X (due to all the rebates and incentives these days), then financing took a turn for the worst and now I'm the owner of a 2005 Velocity Red Mica RX8.

I have a soft spot for Mazdas as I used to own a FC (love or hate relationship with that car) and I'm just getting out of a built NA Miata.

Although the car didn't have as much power as the Evo, man oh man do I smile everytime I hit an apex of the turn and start burying my foot into the throttle. The RX8's handling is phenominal!

I've owned many sports cars in the past including an AP2 S2000, track-ready Miata, and an E30 M3.

This car ceases to amaze me (requires a bit of a different driving technique).....Wow!
