Talking Hello

Hey whats up guys!?! I'm new to the rotary movement but I've always been a big fan. I'm intrested in joining the club offically but i wanted to get some feed back from u guys about the pros and cons about the rx-8....thanks guys!

pros...........REVS,REVS,REVS!!!
cons...........lack of torque, but it is 1.3liter engine.

I dont think theres an engine out there that small putting out that much power.
can someone please prove me wrong on this? haha.

alot of people get flamed on here for asking "dumb" questions on this forums, and most people hate it when you drag race your 8. its pretty much just opinions here. I will admit......I drag race my car at the tracks all the time. and i love it.

if you already bought your 8, congrats. if not then just test drive one. if you like itthen thats cool. if not then find something that you like. btw welcome to the club!!!

thanks for the warm welcome :D....ive done some research since this posting.....so is the cat melting a big issue cause that would be my largest of all...i also read about the engine flooding due to "techician error"....and the lack of tq but thats not an issue for me even tho i weigh 200 lbs lol!!! but ya id be most intrested in coming to this meet especially since theres guitar hero...hahahaha....im not gonna have to deal with any "haters" on domestics am i? cause i drive a supercharged cobalt right now.

as long as its not a stage 2 cobalt, anything faster than the 8 is not appreciated by 8 owners. lol. im jk.

I passed 200 lbs about 20 yrs ago. I'm sitting at 275 right now.

I live in brentwood...bout 20 min from tracy and stockton...30 min from concord and dublin.
