2004 Ti Grey here. I have the base system, and I want to put in new speakers but i dont' want to rip out the stock head unit. Anyone know of a place on Oahu that has worked on the 8 and if they did a good clean job?

 

I went to Circuit City in Aiea, trying to get them to install the PIE adaptor in my car, but they said that the 8 was too difficult for them to install into. Not sure if it's just the center unit they were talking about or the speakers too. I ended up doing the iPod installation myself. But you might want to ask about speakers.

 

If you look in the buy & sell, I think, there's a black 8 that says it got custom sounds. Try and give that person a call and ask'em what they did. K-den!
