I worked for a company with a large in house call center department. Whenever I would give anytype of presentation for people from the dept I would include that image somewhere.

I think the law is rather silly considering that it is the distraction of talking not the holding of the cell that causes problems. But I can't fight the law so I am redoing my sterio.

Pioneer just came out with the AVIC-F90BT Nav with BlueTooth, USB, IPOD, etc. Looks really sweet. Too bad I am going to have to rip out the factory nav I bought. Never should have done that in the first place but live and learn.

I am also going to put in Dynomat to help with the sound. MS CAI and MS Exhaust make too much noise and people can't hear me (nor me them) with my headset.

I might post a how to with pics once I get it all finished.

I already have that device. I get a new one each morning for free. Comes with my subscription to the paper. Let me know and I'll hook up any RX8 owner with one at the next meet. Unfortunately one size does not fit all. Some have been knows to snap on those individuals with large heads.

blueknight: might I suggest the Jawbone headset. My car has Intake + RP Supercat + RB exhaust and NO problem with people hearing me.

George, which one do you have? I have had nothing but problems with them. Either I can't hear them or they can't hear me. I might get a different head set if I find one thatg works well but either way I am swaping out my sterio and speakers. IMHO the factory systems suck. But then again, I tend to spend a lot on my systems and have gotten used to better.

I have the dynamat on the way, and navi/amps/speakers on order. Only thing left to get is the replacement dash plate. I have been looking at this one but would be interested if anyone has any better suggestions. I currently have the Bose 9 speaker system with Nav unit. I am not sure how well that plate will work.

Hoping to have the new system installed in the next month or so.

Here's the headset I use when I'm not in the car. Probably the best sounding BT headset I've ever used: http://www.bang-olufsen.com/page.asp?id=183

I have bluetooth through my stereo anyway so the law doesn't really impact me. That said, I am truly sick of people (read: lawmakers) who aren't smarter than I am telling me what's in my own interest for safety. Same goes for seatbelts.
