This is to see who is intrested in going to see the race at Laguna Seca in Monterey California. The race schedule is from Friday September 7-9 and includes the Continential race, Grand AM race and a few other events. Motels are around $45 and up. I figure it might be good to get things start as reservatiosn may be filling up. You can camp on tack or stay at a motel near by. There is also a parade lap that has a limited number of people for $50.

are you thinking of driving up Friday or Saturday?

 

Well I would perfer driveing up Saturday to save $$$ on the room the previous night. I want to do the parade lap but I havent decided yet, $50 is a lot for a lap at slow pace. It would have to be pretty early.

 

if i can fix my overheating issue i may go..

My wife and I are in town for it. Took a bit to find a Mazda rental, but finally found a 3. Staying in SF tonight, down in Monterey through the weekend.

All day Friday and Saturday, leaving after the main race Sunday.

Should be at the track around 8-ish each day

 

Having trouble with grand am allowing some of us, including the organizer, get into the corral area. Forced us to park in general admission. Marlon is trying to clear it up.

 

 

Down to 1:31.5 on the ebay simulator time. The 1:28.9 was apparently there from the start.
