Did anyone else on this board order from Galpin Mazda in Van Nuys? because i ordered at the beginning of April, A fully loaded Titanium, with red on black interior, including nav, and im in the first allocation, they said that they have 30 cars for the first allocation since they are the largest volume mazda dealership in the US, Please respond if you did, and for those who havent ordered one yet, Galpin would be a good choice if you want to be in the first allocation

 

Galpin is the largest volume FORD dealership. Coat-tailing their NEW Mazda franchise with that moniker is disingenuous.

 

i ordered from galpin, i spoke with pat the internet sales manager and he has an allocation of 9 rx8's for the first shipment.

 

what did you think of their service? what options did you order on your car? and do you have any idea when the hell our cars are getting there?

 

service was fine, tho the salesguy i first talked in january was taken off guard when i came up and said i want to preorder an rx8. i ordered yellow/6mt/touring. and i assume our cars would arrive the same time as everyone elses cars...probably mid-late july it looks like now?

 

also we're getting it at msrp, right?

 

i don't know what price -we- are getting, i've got a price attached to my deposit receipt that shows 29.9k incl dest, excl tax title. but honestly, im ready to walk away if they try and bend me over. not all car salesmen live up to the stereotype but you should just be careful about everything you sign.

 

Have you gotten your VIN # yet, Lefuton? And have you gotten the preorder book? Because i havent recieved either of them

 

i just got the pre-order book, but haven't dropped in to check on vin yet.
