Thumbs up First drive in RX8

Newbie here juts want to say that I drove(beat to hell) a demo rx8 from Hines Mazda in SD on saturday, looking to replace my moded '95 Mistu GST. The sales girl told me next year the mazdaspeed RX8 SHOULD come out(now just a rumor). My question is this. My choices for my next car are this:
1) 2001/02 BMW M3
2) 2004 Cobra
3) 2004 Evolution MR(when it gets here)
4) rX8 Mazdaspeed(if it gets here)

What do you guys think? Will this Mazda speed rx8 get here, will it be worth the wait? Thanks for any thoughts.

And is paying ~40k for a MS version of the RX-8 worthwhile for you? It's not like the MS version has 350 hp or anything.

I wouldn't wait if i were you....it may be a long time then again magazines say it will be here in late 2004 or early 2005, which is still a long way away if your looking for a new car right now.

For the Mazdaspeed version of the car they increased the torque and horsepower only by about 10. Their main focus was with the handling and throttle response, although they are debating whether or not to turbo or supercharge it....i sure as hell hope they do.

Yes. I know. Unless you're going racing with the car, the MS version is hardly worth the extra bucks, and definately not worth waiting for. You can get the MS body kit and get the same look for less cash.
