Finally!

Finally, I got my 8 yesterday at Menlo, it's Titanium Gray, have HID, cloths seats, factory kit, moon roof, and Cd changer, out the door 275XX. The car is now 50 mile, any suggestion on maintainance and things i should do?????I've heard that it's good to floor the car to red line in the first 100 mile, or something downshift from 6 to 5 gear to let the rotors brake in........

275xx is a steal if that included taxes!

Anyhow, drive semi-conservatively (dont go too far over 6000rpm) warm up your car properly and go easy on the shifting for the first 600 miles. Even if it's not to save the engine/transmission, at least consider that brand new clutches require the same type of "break in".

I read the manual after 2,000 miles. My first 400 miles I over revved and spun a 180, a 360. I felt at that point the car was properly broken in.

the car is broken in from the factory.. the only thing is like GiN said.. the breaks and clutch will need you not to glaze them by over heating them to soon.. but after you drive it for a day that will not be an issue. The engine has time on it from the factory. It is broken in when you get it. Just drive it like it was ment to be driven and you will be fine..
