Euro plates in CA?

This is probably a stupid question, but can you mount a European style license plate on the back of your car? I live in California by the way. Any responses on this topic would be great.

-Thanks

Euro style with regular numbers/letters? Never seen it. Many have a euro under the reg or in the front though...

I've seen some vw's with euro plates on the front bumper but I think it illegal to have them on the back.

NO!!!!!!!

You are not allowed to have one on the front OR back of your car if you are using it as a license plate.
If you are using it as decoration . . . it is fine.
Just make sure you have a CALIFORNIA DMV supplied front AND back license plate to keep yourself legal.
