I'm sure anyone in the Aviation field would have at least one RX-8 owner. Anyway, would be nice if mine could last that long of a trip up north in a single fill up; in the meantime, Bakersfield's my limit.

You're more then welcome to stop by if you ever wanna take a really long drive or if you're ever in the area. Your 7 would fit right in with the rest of them in the group haha. It be nice to get in touch with them down there, people dont seem to be too into the forum seen around these parts though

Its only 3/4 tank to get up to Lemoore in the RX8, itd be cool if we could get together at a Black Bear Diner or Harris Ranch

Long Drive? Either way I have to drive 1.5 hr + to any meet from where I live...and for only 5 cars to show up . Looks like you guys have a nice mix & amount of rotaries.

Yea and tulare is about the same distance, just different highways. Black Bear is a great place, havent been there in ages but man it is worth it for sure.

Really? How far out from everyone are you? Usually we have a nice spread of 7's, the 8's in the area are usually busy or never around lol. I do know we're getting another FD in the pack in a month or so

Speaking of Bakersfield, I'll be giving the 7's down there a call in a bit. Also I think I sent the template. Hopefully it went through

San Bernardino Meet 1-1.5 hours
San Diego Meet 2.5 hours
LAX Meet 1.5 hours
Ventura meet 1.5 hours

Id drive another 1.5 hours or so for a scenic drive, and meet new ppl. My work schedule is very complicated so I can never be committed to any meet. I always write down all the meets on my calendar, and whichever happens to be on my time off, I most likely attend.

Sounds good, that Blain park looks like a good hangout spot before the food settled then, 6 at the park, get everyone situated, then food by no later than 7. Wish I could get ahold the other 4 8's in the area but I think Wind has the same late night/weekend schedule as chris and well Gamer has a tight sched too. The other two I know I'm gonna be pushing to go Also boom, the fixed ever growing list

Late notice, I just got in town(Bakersfield) but didn't bring the RX-8, weather broke three digits so I took the family car instead.

why must drivers avoid me like the plague. It's kinda hard to not notice another 8 on the road. Yea I'm talking to you guy in the SS with the university stickers on the bumper. I park right in front of you and you don't even look lol. On another note I wish I at least could wave to the guy in the stormy blue that I've seen a few times near river park. By far has to be one of best colors IMO. He's always in a hurry in the other direction than me

Oh yea bump

And tonight to the Asian chick in the red 8, thanks for ******* me down as I gave a high sign....mucho appreciated ahh my luck lol

You gotta to suave and smooth with the laidies Figs.

Don't smile, do a the half eyes closed, nod your head slowly like -what's up-, and then form the words "HOW YOU DOIN". But don't crack a smile or you lose all that you just worked for.

BTW aren't you sticking those flyers on their cars to get them to come out to meets???

-To the park from Higway 99-

off Hwy 99, get off Cartmill exit, head west to Oaks st (corner of AM/PM), south on Oaks, and just south of Church building is Blain park on the Left.

POINT A = Blain Park
POINT B = VIP Pizza

I think the fresno area has the full set color wise lol. So far in my year and a half of owning I've seen just about ever series 1 color. Saturday finished the set with a winning blue on 99. There was a Ly with a speed wing, ss with a speed bumper, a ton of vr everywhere lol, that one bb that i saw like once, a nasty looking ng with an unpainted bright green body kit, a wwp that works at some paint shop, and a few other just random cars. That shinka on craigslist just makes me want to upgrade even more http://fresno.craigslist.org/cto/2581905356.html

Anyways saturday is coming and so is sevenstock next month gotta plan a caravan or something

Hey you guys I'm attending to a family emergency since early this evening I may or may not make it to the meet. Truely sorry, I hate sounding like a flaker but it is a serious situation. I will post when I get home.

Very Fun and hilarious night

mickey and minnie mouse showed up, Mickey lost his shoe as he was running away.

Chasing 7 owners down to get them to come to our meet, which he eventually showed, LOL

Damn, I was browsing craigslist for some games and i came across this... Its for sale in Fresno. I have only seen him once or twice. It's really clean, but not worth $16k imho if its not forced induction.. Some kit and wheels with minor mods.

Yea that guy is in visalia, a buddy of mine told me about him a long while back. I think he said it was turbo'd and he blew the engine(the intercooler piping is kinda obvious in the pics) I'm pretty sure its stock now under the hood now but yea way too much even with a brand new motor and a few mods. I kinda feel like going and seeing who it is lol the car looks pretty clean

Sorry guys I didn't make it... my sister was in serious condition at the hospital, but,
she's in doing a LOT better!

I will try my hardest to go up north on the next one. Again, sorry guys.
