Our introductory event!

As everyone has been clamoring for a meet, we've gone ahead and planned one. It's close to winter and this will probably be the last time we can do a pure BBQ before the end of the year. (BBQ/dyno days will still happen rain or shine)

Cupertino was chosen as a meeting place for several reasons. We've had BBQs at this location previously and have had success with a large parking lot and ample tables/seating/grilling areas. It is also not TOO far from the North Bay and we do expect some people from Santa Cruz to turn up this time, so it is close enough to being a central location.

If you would like to attend but don't have time to prepare or go shopping donations will be accepted and will go directly to funding the BBQ or pay for server fees for the new BBS.

MEMORIAL PARK
GRILL WILL PROMPTLY BE LIT AT NOON

Stevens Creek Blvd. at Mary Ave. Attractions at the 28-acre Memorial Park include acres of lawn ideal for family picnics, a lake, and six lighted tennis courts, as well as the Senior Center. Also, an amphitheater, lighted softball field, a gazebo, and picnic areas are available for general enjoyment or rental.

How late you going to be there? I gotta work that day. Maybe I'll try to stop by later.

 

I'd say till at least 4. Maybe even until dark.. depends on the turn out and how much food we have.. heck, if theres enough lunch and dinner in the same place.

 

Sorry guys but I have a firearms qualification that day. And I won't be able to make the next D&B meet either due to Arrest and Control class.

Thats for coming out guys. There was a great turn out. Wish more of you could have came but neverthe less we all had a good time. There was even lots of food left over at the end!
