Hey there fellow 8 members, decided to put this thread up so we don't clutter up the Community Chat thread and try to find whenever people are heading out to meet up or what not, though most have each others phone numbers, this will help organize local meets for old and new members alike.

Anyways, want to know if any 8 members want to do a small meet. Want to bring the Bay Area folks together with the Tracy, Stockton and maybe Sac members at the sonics in tracy. If there is enough interest, i'll go ahead and get a date down and what not, it's been awhile since i organized something and miss it. Let me know whats up!

lately ive only been working tuesday through thrusday. im going to be gone the weekend of june 5 and 6th.

 

looks like it'll be on a friday but i still need other peoples input

anyways, friday (5/22), i'll be at union landing if anyone wants to meet up or we can meet up at quickly's in milpitas near 99 ranch market. i'm on the borderline of fremont/milpitas at my gf's house so either or, i jus got to know before i leave here at 10

yeah, i always see s2k's there, sometimes mingled with the nsx's. haha, me and a buddy of mine always go to quickly's, its near my gf's house so its convenient for me. nice place except for the damn ricers that go there that attract too much attention.

guess we'll head over to wingstop next friday on the 29th! i wont be available until 10ish so hopefully there is people there.

i'm going to start to coordinate with the rx7club to get an all rotary meet going on

 

I drop by quickly's every now and again, never seen any 8s there before though, maybe I just have bad vision lol. To be honest though, its not the ricers that causes the problems, its the muscle cars that come after the runs.

Anywho, will keep an eye out on this thread, hope to meet some new local 8 owners soon

 

i might have seen you a few times, theres been a few 8's that pass here and there at quicklys, me and my buddies usually park at the spots in front of the atm across the parking lot from quicklys, maybe next time

anywho, where are the sacramento 8 people? i need to know if they're willing to have a meet at sonics one of these days, right now it seems like friday is the best day for it.

 

I'm definitely down for a meet in Tracy; Friday or weekends. Weekdays would be tough!

 

i could go down to union this friday. and my 8 will be going into storage mode on june 6th. for 3 months =( should i do oil change before or after the vacation?

 

I may be able to make it on the 29th in Union. I'll let you guys know if I go.

 

if not, for this friday, we can meet up at stoneridge mall and maybe go for dinner? instead of the usual meet and greet at union city? just a thought for you folks

 

I would definately be down for that since I am local!! Maybe we could do both? If there is a Stoneridge one, I will be there for sure. I may be able to get my friend to bring his 8 as well. Would anyone mind if I brought a friend of mine who has an RSX Type S which is mainly stock? If he comes, he won't be a pain, I promise.

 

haha, there is no worries on that, honestly, like many of the 8 members here, we appreciate all types of vehicles, we dont "hate" on people who own different cars as our own like many other car clubs out there.

Haha. Yeah I knew you guys wouldn't care. We're all classy members, so I knew it wouldn't be a big deal. Eventhough my friends are part of clubrsx, they are rice haters like ourselves, so don't worry about them causing trouble or bringing down the group.

 

haha, i think the majority of car groups out there are rice haters. we can make this a joint group between rsx's and rx8's the restaurant we go to will probably be pissed though but oh well :P anyways, i see some clean honda's out there, i stopped by the honda meet down in automall, fremont sunday afternoon, i believe over a 100 honda's were there, pretty awesome turn out rate, and awesome cars.

 

stoneridge mall sounds way better! im local too! so i would most likely be able to make it.
