update on the radiator thing: the patch still leaked, so i said screw it and using just a pocketknife, removed the plug (took me two hours of having the knife slip/stripping the plug). mazda doesn't have a replacement on hand, so i'm currently waiting for some j.b. weld to cure and then i'll put the plug back in. talk about macgyver style

yeah i called up places in the bay area today. i can't overnight it because ill be at wedding functions starting from 9am tomorrow =/ talk about an overbooked weekend

 

alright folks, I'm here sitting at the meet eating sushi and a great idea was brought up for a rx8 club sky dive day. there are some good places up near san fran. so if your up for it PM me so I can get an idea of how many ppl are interested. official post to come soon.

also other events brought up include paintballing and beach meet. I will also take charge of the beach meet!

2K might get a good sound system if you do it yourself or know someone to do the work. To get it right, you need a cabinet, probably some dynomat, and replace all the speakers. Having a decent installer do a system won't get you anything as good as the Bose system that's stock for 2K.

Hold off on rims, good new rims and tires will cost $$$ or $$$$. Yokohama tires by themselves are $800 total (give or take). Check out tirerack.com for decent tires, they are mostly in the 200+ range per tire.

Tint is relatively inexpensive (don't know about clear bra pricing yet), and definitely helps in this heat.
