What's up everyone? new to the forum checking in. I've got a whitewater pearl 05. Had it for about a week and couldn't be happier. In addition to all the maintenance (I don't know what had and hadn't been done by the previous owner, so I'm just doing everything) I've already done a few things here and there to make it mine.

I own a shop in livermore that recently started working on rotaries, let me know if there's anything I can help anyone out with. Here, or through the shop, I'm always happy to help if I can.

Maybe one day, but for right now I'm just enjoying the car. I've got my miata that's track built. I'm out there all the time with that one.

Anybody know how I can smog my 8 without having to put my catalytic converter back on or clearing the P0410 CEL code? I just need it smogged ONE TIME and since it's registered in Mariposa County, I'll never have to smog it again...

Ok maybe I can put on my Cat for this one time, I just need to get these damn rusted bolts out of it so it will fit... And an AccessPort so I can make it look like the P0410 code is gone.

I'll be at Sonoma with SpeedSF in November. If you have Facebook, look up our local group. NCRG Northern California Rotary Group.

"Winter"... Sure, I don't like driving my 8 in the rain but once the sun comes out, nobody can stop me.

lol, i love driving my 8 in whatever weather, just getting it ready for a new motor so it's just sitting there in the garage where it warms up every couple of days. I do enjoy driving the MS6 though, lol, not having to downshift to pass is always fun.

Anyone interested in a meet for next weekend?

I've been trying to find a meet with other 8s, I want to show my hard work off haha! And admire other people's work of course... I finally took my 8 to the dealer to handle the two airbag recalls so they decided to check the new fuel pump recall as well. Well, turns out my 8 was the first problem they've seen with the fuel pump and now I'm stuck with a loaner CX-5. Oh well, maybe my wobbly idle will be fixed now.

Haha it's all good, I'm pretty sure the stealership will cover it and didn't someone just say we should do a meet up?
