Well bad just got worse. On my way home from Work last Friday at 3:07pm on El-camino-real a Santa Clara city work truck desides he wants to be in my lane and side swipes me. Breaking my Mirror, denting my driver side door, and small rear door and scrapping up my rear fender. Thats another $500 I have to break for to pay my deductable. All is good though we are in good spirits and smiling. Can't break my spirit.

It's his fault, you don't have to pay anything!!! If he admits to his insurance that he was at fault, you don't pay out of pocket!

Sorry to hear that man. I agree with David, if it's his fault you don't have to pay anything as you just collect his insurance, and it sounds like it is his fault. It seems like a lot of RX-8s are getting hit lately...

It was his fault but he lied and said I went into his lane and hit him. The girl driving a Honda didn't stop and kept driving. She was the only witness. The police said he can't find who is at fault . Yes Sack, we need to hang out.

I'm pretty near Milpitas. Hopefully when you get here you can go to our weekly meets on Fridays. Not far from Milpitas. Maybe a 10 minute drive. Hope to meet you soon. As for driving spots, gotta ask David or John. There the crazy ones. Im just an old fart with a kidds toy.

Just take it easy on the stick, no need to try to impress anyone. Learning to drive a stick is not easy and even less easy when you hang out with a bunch of gear heads that been driving sticks for a long time. Don't worry, we will be easy on you.

atleast I went

and lets see your first time karting times
ooh ooh in your face Beeeyatchhh just got punked by my good friend, aa aa whats his name??? LOL

I have my routes, but I generally go in the middle of the night and i live in South San Jose so it's quite a drive for us to meet up. Remember this mantra: slow is smooth, smooth is fast. This is ESPECIALLY applicable to karts, not quite as applicable to a full size car with a relatively soft suspension like the RX-8. The stiffer the suspension, the smoother you'll need to be. Karts of course have no suspension.

On second thought, my car won't be canyon certified until May anyway, so Sunnyvale/Milpitas won't be much of a drive. I need to get a new tires, an alignment done, try to eliminate the gear oil smell, decide what I'm going to do with my marbles if anything, and finish some left over paint work. Currently I'm considering the Falken Azenis RT615s in addition to my other traditional choices. The RT615s I'm actually considering in the 235/40 size which is kind of weird coming from a stickler like me.
