damn im sorry im letting the master bay 8s down. i had a bunch of friends come into town all the sudden. im a meet failure.

sadly i aslo have to take my name off the list for next friday and for nexts weekends go karting. im apparently going on vacation. it sucks im missing the meet but i get to arizona and watch the giants at spring training

I'm down to go gokarting, and might bring 1-3 more guests (including 1 more rx8 owner). Not sure on the details, but I'll harass my friends and get a much more clear idea by Tues/Wed.

Is it set on the Burlingame place?

 

It will be set by tomorrow, when I call for the reservation. update the "sign up" sheet in the post somewhere... please people don't flake out and if you do let m know by Thurs. That's why I was asking for a deposit, but no one did it yet. So again please come if you say you are, I am taking the effort to make this happen, please don't let that time go to waste.

Anyway, its cool that you guy couldn't make it, we all got things to do and I didn't want more witnesses to what I was doing... :-P

Alright here is the scoop.

It is set for 3/11 @ 2:00pm. Please be there at 1:30pm, we need everyone there at the reservation time. As for food, i'll also see if they can cater for us. DAMN! I'm taking good care of you guys.... BTW... I do take tips.....

Track:
Grand Prix - 10 minute practice, take a 10 minute break, you then go back for 5 minutes of qualifying, line up on a grid for a 15 minute race to cross the finish line first! We can take 10 people at a time and if your group is over 10 people, we will run your sessions back to back.

Price:
$60 per person. There is a licence fee of $7, but with our group it's down to $5.

Here is the list thus far. The way I see it, if your name isn't on the list, you don't want to go. I have about 4-5 more people wanting to go, but I want the first group to be the 8 club members. If the groups go larger than 10 people, and they want to kart, there can be another session right after. And not to be rude, but again, please, please, if you say you are going, please attend at the time specified. If you are not there by 2:00pm and there are others there, they will take your place.

Getting it quoted tomorrow. Most likely it'll come in under my deductible as the damage wasn't too severe, except for my wheel. In terms of actual bodywork, really only my right rear fender needs work. I'm **** though, so I want my bumper alignment to be perfect again. My right rear wheel is pretty messed up, so it looks like the WedsSports will be going on sooner than I imagined. I was in a happy mood walking back to my car thinking about what I was going to do in terms of my next step for modding, and then I see this. It really ruined my day.

Yo!!! I have an idea for another meet probably a month from now. We all know that we have weekly meets on Friday nights, but its a lot for people to attend every Friday night.

So I propose that we have a meet once a month for everyone on a Saturday; for example the second Saturday of the month from 11am til when Adam passes out. What will happen at this meet you say??? How about a BBQ / potluck? We'll have it at a park somewhere, I'm not really from this area so I'm leaving the location on the table for all you guys out there. But let me know what you guys think and I'll make it happen... I just want to have something for some good wholesome family fun...

Zach, that ***** place, I heard the lines are too long, the prices are pretty stiff, ever with our group. The restrooms floors are sticky. I don't want to be shafted for something I paid for. And the only food there is hot dogs, I heard they taste like rubber... Do you really want to go there?
