so ive started collecting parts for my sub setup

its going to be a single Stype 300rate/900peak with a 400watt rated at 2ohm alpine amp in a single box with 1.5cu ft of area with a 4inch wide 12 inch deep port

should have enough bump for me

i dont want anything crazy, i like adam's setup but his is still more than i need

i have the sub and i just bought the amp, im not sure how long it'll be before i get the box, but i project if im not lazy about it, it should be up in a few weeks

I could just take it to any muffler shop but I'd rather pay extra for a mandrel bent SS pipes instead of crush bent aluminized steel.
Just tell me when your ready and he will probably charge about $300 to $450 depending on the mufflers you pick.

Sorry guys Its saturday and its 7:02pm and Im drunk already. Have fun at hotpot.

thanks! I'll provide the mufflers/tips + the 304 SS pipes, all I really need is for him to bend/weld the pieces together. how long will he need the car for? does he work during weekends?

its all good, i wasnt meaning to sound like a dick or anything

but if its glass, than it will be a chunk of glass on top, if its not it will be a chunk of metal on top

that glass sunroof is worth a lot to other FD owners, you better keep that thing protected, lol

Yeah. Let us know when you're comming up? I wouldn't miss this meet for all the money in the world! I'll bring the Manongs and Old Schools that I was telling you about so you can further educate us on your hip-new euphemisms...

Well I'm back from a weekend with my boss's Fiat club. It was fun chasing X1/9s down goat paths and I feel the RX-8 gave a good accounting of itself. Some of the roads were a bit dirty and so some touch up will be needed on my roof (!!!) as well as my trunk, which got scratched heavily by the CB radio. This was my first time using a CB and so this is lessons learned for the future.

Aww.... Well I guess Adam, Zach and I will have to swing by your house and get your car. We need a blue one on the group pictures. Trust us, everything will be fine.

Make sure to keep up with the fourms if you are going to dissapear. Remember you're the one setting up the GoKart thing.

I understand completely, but please stay up on the forum and dont disappear completely, we still want you to be involved as much as possible, Im sure adam, david and i can coordinate something for the gokarting so dont worry about that. Its kind of hard for me to be throughly involved in planning due to my distance from everyone else but i will do what i can to contribute

Sometimes life gets a little too full and we all need time of to take care of priorities, but as soon as your ready to come back you're more than welcome, you started this thing anyways

good luck with school and stuff
