We meet at the parking lot near the Krispy Kreme in union city, at the Union Landing shopping area. We park next to the street. If you come in around 7 you should see a few of us in the parking lot along the road.

I think its the LED's he is using, they don't like alternating current. I threw some regular 194's into mine or do what Matt did and get the better ones.

Alright I'm debating... should I drive to the meet (duh right) or Bart in and one of you great guys can pick me up because my girl will already be in the area to pick me up that night or I can attempt crash with Leo again, if he's not already busy, and she can come get me on Saturday...

 

He shouldn't be getting AC through that line at all.

Especially because when you unlock the car everything is under battery power so they're not even taking stuff from the alternator yet, it should be a nice flat current with no noise. If he's getting enough noise on that line to make an LED turn on and off, there are some major issues.

I put a scope to some of the power lines in the car after the whole speaker install to try to debug some noise and on battery power all the power lines are whisper quiet. On alternator... well it's not that bad, a 50 uF cap in parallel for the amp cleared up a lot of noise for me.

Anyways nerdiness aside you're welcome over friday night. I don't think I have anything planned, I might go out to the Buddha Lounge or K-town with a friend but you're more than welcome to come along. The Mountainview scenery ain't bad. But more than likely I'm still going to be sniffly on friday so I probably won't go. My allergies are killing me.

 

I didn't really mean AC, but I couldn't think of the right words. when you hook up the puddle lights to the interior lights, they are on a dimmer and I know that caused my LEDS to flicker.

Sweeeeeet my puddle lights and door handle accents came in!

I had to get 2 pairs of the handles, because one is a silver base with a CF-style accent, and the other is a black base with a chrome accent. So I got one set of each so I could take them apart and put the cf with the black.

So now I've got a set of silver/chrome if someone would like them.
