anyone in Sacramento want to drive down with a group of mazda guys?

I'm meeting 3 or 4 other guys at Panera Bread off Howe Ave. / Northrop before heading down at 10:15am.

Just wanted to let you know that the meet is definitely still on for tomorrow. If it rains we will probably be chilling inside, so bring a foldable chair to sit on. Rishie is going to try to have a raffle, and give away some really cool items. Also since it will more than likely be raining, we won't be having a BBQ. We will more than likely order some pizza or something, and have everyone pitch in. Ok, see you all tomorrow!

 

Hey thanks for making it out everyone! Thanks Dluxxx and Hoosteen for helping to organize this too, and especially Rishie for letting us use the place! I was speaking with Rishie, and he was hoping to do to something like this every 3-4 months. For a summertime meet, he is also going to try to get some people from Mazda to come and speak, and almost make it like a mini sevenstock, but with all Mazda cars. Stay tuned for that!

It was nice meeting everyone... and for those who went to the range.... that was kick ***! Unnerving at first, but ultimately way cool. We gotta do that again sometime.

today was real rough....

I lost my wallet on a site-visit during work...

So my wallet is sitting somewhere in a giant field. I had to cancel all of my credit cards and currently do not have any ID.

I have to go to the DMV on Monday. I don't feel comfortable driving down to the meet without any ID. I also need to wait for UPS to deliver my Credit Card on Saturday. So i will be a no go. Sorry.

 

word i got called into work no go for me either...

Anyway, just wanted to remind anyone that is interested that there is a meet being planned for May in Sac. Should be pretty good.

 

That's weak. It's on Sunday right? Not sure if I can make it. I'll try though.

 

Naw check out the updates! Its on a Saturday now, because that Sunday is Mother's Day. Also they are giving away a lot of prizes and having a BBQ.

being that the bay area has been pretty dead, i'm bumping this up, so we can decide what to do for our august meet. Hopefully we can keep this going and not have it die down everytime. Even sacramento has a near weekly meet.

Any newcomers are encourage to post and post pictures, so we can get this bigger than just me, mike, and jon.

 

Brian (avalonstar) is starting to come up too. Gotta have more though. Come on guys/gals!

 

maybe we should try and start joint greater sac area and bay area meet, maybe meet somewhere in the middle like cordeilia?

 

Where is that? Isn't there a nice park near Travis? I went to a Nissan meet there a few years ago.
