Keep us posted man, I hope you get things cleared up for you to enjoy your car more. The 8 is a great car and should be driven as much as possible.

Seems there are "new" spark plugs that just came out. I was told they are now on order and I will get a call when they come in.

I really just don't care anymore. Same crap, different day. I wish I never had the ECU flashed. It went from never flooding to doing all the time now. My wife was driving the car today and she could not get it started. She called me and I had to give her the de-flooding proceedure.

bla bla bla... I hate my car.

i wonder if they're just BSing w/ you samsonite. i'm sure you're gettin' fed up w/ taking the car back to the dealership over and over again. and i'm 100% sure they are gettin' tired of seeing your car back at the shop. obviously they can't fix it, so they might just be blaming the parts or mazda. it doesn't matter if you're an independent shop or a dealership, no one likes to be blamed so they "hide" behind other sources and make you believe them. i work at a dealership and the service writers come up w/ the stinkiest pile of **** to convince customers...sometimes i just want to do both service writing and being a technician.

i'm really sorry you have to experience this...people should be able to enjoy their new car. i've only had mine for a couple weeks...cross my fingers

I don't know. Before, the car never had issues. It was the dealer. Now the dealer is fine and the car has issues. I don;t think they are bs'ing me. I think Mazda is having issues themself.

the car never had issues UNTIL it went to the dealer. therefore, the problem exists within the dealership.

I am not sure if the current problems are dealer or Mazda corp. I do not think it is dealer related however.

Hey Samsonite! This thread is EXACTLY why I have never let Mazda reflash my 8 - never. I keep reading stuff like this and, my car is running great, and "if it ain't broke don't fix it."

I get 18-19 MPG pretty much tank in/tank out (except GMR runs!). And, it starts each and every time (knockin' wood here). Why risk an ECU reflash?

Hope things work out for you - I love my 8 - don't want that to change!
