Hey AZ 8's, any of you coming out for this run, its a longer version of the one we did out on 87, this one is up 89A through Prescott to Flag. Time to get out of the spring heat.

Maniac in Club West
Pretty sure I saw Maniac this morning heading East on Chandler Blvd in Club West. I was the CYM Gen 3 that waved to you.
Man, how I wish I had my camera this morning. Stopped at Saad's gas station this morning (Mobil On the Run at 46th Street and Chandler Blvd) and many of the BOYZ that were heading on the Supra Run were there topping off with race gas. Beautiful Silver Anniversary Supra, Charcoal Grey R32 Skyline, Silver WRX, and a twin turbo Viper claiming to be putting down 1600 HP. Everyone wanted to know if I was going on the run, but alas (or maybe thank goodness for me) the wife and I had a ton of things on our plate today. Sure was an impressive showing at one gas station at the same time. Needless to say, the Viper was running STRAIGHT race gas.
Hope everyone was safe and no one went to jail! All this HP and testosterone unleashed at the same time is a recipe for disaster (or FUN) depending on how you look at it!!
Later, and HAPPY EASTER everyone!

I'm confused. I thought our drive to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon was scheduled for Sunday, May 1 to accommodate an out of town RX-8 lister who was going to be here and wanted to head out on a drive. Now I'm seeing April 22? Many RCCAZ members have been pleading for a Sunday drive versus Saturday since many work Saturdays and can't make those events. Any chance that we could at least move it to Sunday the 23rd as a compromise? Let me know before I make final plans for May 1.

Liked your ride as well. Looked like the full Mazdaspeed kit with rotary accents in BLACK, which is an awesome color. Beautiful ride. I live at the end of Pecos Road (Woodside Homes). We'll have to get together to compare notes and help each other with projects. Hope you had fun on the drive! No tickets I presume. How many cars and bikes ended up making it out?

I haven't heard from our out of towner. The april 30th is still planned for Sedona. I working on the road plans to Sedona so look for a posting Monday (tomorrow) for details.
