The car is registered in my name not hers she was suppose to give me the car back after borrowing it for a couple days no I didn't write that down on paper. Now she doesn't contact me in any way which in my book is refusal to return it I dont know what u guys want me to tell you but all I'm asking for is keep ur eye out and let me know if you see it and where.......yes I'll admit I was stupid to think I could trust a friend to not steal my car or be a bitch about returning it back but my own fault yes, if u dont wanna keep an eye out then dont I didn't think this was gonna be a "tear me a new ******* cuz I made a mistake deal" just thought I would have some peeps helping me find my car.

or oil.
average a quart every other fillup, a fillup every 1-2 weeks. 4 quarts minumum, so the car will be sitting on the side of the road with a seized engine in roughly 8-16 weeks from when she started the joyride.
or she is in the 1% of women i have seen that actually adds oil.
or she found another person to wave her vagina at to add oil for her.
but i'll keep an eye out. she sounds like a self centered ho, and they most all usually wind up in vegas at some point. in the end she will probably be wearing a dirty smurfette costume down on the strip accepting tips for pictures while living out of the trunk.

i doubt shes aware of the oil issues
and i doubt her current pimp would care enough to check
its lookin grim rx7 guy. you either get no rx8 back or you get it back with severe engine damage
and its a woman driving a car she thinks is fast so expect body damage and glitter all over the place

Just wanted to remind the other AZ guys that there is at least one other blue R3 here. I live in Tempe and work in NE Mesa, so make sure you verify the license plate before taking action. My car is all stock. I do have a clear bra though and you can see the line across the hood from certain angles.
@rx7guy: Sorry to hear this man, this really sucks. I will definitely keep an eye out. I'm pretty sure you are the only other blue R3 besides me so that should make it easy.

I knew about rx7's R3 from this forum, but I didn't know about yours. I would have called the cops on you had you not warned me, lol.
EDIT: At least rx7's R3 has very distinctive tags on it.

Especially if the 911 responder is not from the same jurisdiction that the OP is attempting to file with.
It'd be fairly easy to call and say: "I just spotted a vehicle that someone I know is attempting to report as stolen. I tried to flag her down, but she took off at a high rate of speed and I wasn't about to give chase as she was endangering other drivers.
Here's the vehicle description and plate number, and here's the owner's contact information..."
Then you give your name and contact to prove that you aren't trolling (they'd already have your number, anyhow).

If she decides to drive to norther california, i'll keep my eyes out for her. I only know of one blue r3 in the area. Hope the best for you and i think it may be time to contact insurance and a private investigator.
A couple of things though, how long have you known this person? What was the warrant for her in Maine? Contacting local news agencies may do something as this is definitely news on its own but put up post in Craigslist and other places as well. Maybe contact mazda dealerships across the state, if something did happen to the car, she might bring it there.
Hope the best for you.

There has been no luck finding her, I hope she is dead, if I do ever see her again she will be. This is what I get for trying to be nice and help a so called friend out. What also sucks is the people in this forum that would rather bash me then give me advice and help, guess the people in this forum are no better then the other forums. It was nice to the people that I met in person hope none of you have to go through what I went through it sucks. I probably won't ever own an rx8 again maybe a 7 but not an 8. So good luck to u all

Too bad man.
You should say some people on this forum, not the people, as the majority of the members here did not give you grief. You have to admit it seemed to be an absurd situation.
While I could imagine how upset I would be if someone stole my car, I, and probably others here, would never let anyone borrow it, so some schadenfreude is not surprising.
While the person was just a friend, you may be lucky that she only stole your car, and it may be a good thing it took that to have her out of your life.
You may be lucky that she didn't have something more sinister in mind. It's happened to others.
I've known some pretty shady women with even shadier friends.
Hope you get your car back.

It was a very naive thing you did, loaning that car to someone you didn't know well. So much so, that others thought there had to be more to the story. That is why they gave you such grief. Damn it was a hard and expensive lesson to learn. It has happened to all of us at one time, more or less. Usually, earlier in life.
Good Luck in getting your car back.

Sorry about the sad ending that your R3 is gone for good. Hope you could still find it...

and it still doesn't mean those same people who gave you grief wouldn't have your back if they ever did see the car. it's just strange that the popo would tell you to pound sand over a stolen car, so much so that it just sounds strange.
