Any meets for Bay Area folks?
Just curious, I've been to only 2 of them and I think that's probably a 20% attendance rating.
Any plans for a meet in this season?

i went to a mr2 meet at treasure island. it was quite an impressive turn out, plus there are some nice areas where u can take photos. besides traffic on the bay bridge, the location may benefit those in the east bay or sf, and as far up in davis/sacramento too.

Hehe, it's too late now, but there was a rather large meet in Milpitas last Friday. Lotsa cars showed up and a group of bikers showed up also. Too bad the cops came and told us to leave, but it was pretty sweet seeing all those cars. I think I only saw one other RX-8 there (I think it was mrtux's because there was a penguin on the dash). It looked really good with the MS kit and spoiler...I'm jealous. Anyway, hope to see some of you at this coming Sat's D&B meet. I'm gonna try to swap out my tranny fluid before then if I can get to it.

Yah, I didn't expect to see so many s2k's, wrx's and evo's either. And the whole lot seemed to be filled with 240's. Did you see the dodge caravan with a turbo installed? It was pretty awesome. Both our cars got on SRO, you should check it out when you get a chance.

Off-topic, anyone going to the meet that has changed his/her gear oils with Redline or Royal Purple? I have the Redline fluids with me, but haven't had the time to buy the things I need for the activity (ie. fluid transfer pump and crush washers). If someone has a shop or place for this, it would be cool to have an open invite for the Bay Area about changing gear oils :D

Btw, can someone please bring your CANscan if you have it? I'll be bringing my laptop and I'd like to see if the problem was my OBDII port and not my CANscan which I have sent back to Houston for repair. Thanks!
