I would like to invite all Bay area RX8 owners to come out to my work, Motor Music, on Oct 15th for a little get together. We will be showing off a few of our project cars, doing some on-the-spot system tuning, and judging a friendly mini sound off competition. I'm not sure if you guys would do anything like this... but any creative ideas about installing satellite radio in our cars? :D

I'll see if I can stop by, not sure if I can make it by 5pm but would be interested in any ideas you have.

 

define "creative". We can pretty much do any sort of fabrication and "creative" leads me to assume that you want something not normally done. Give me a call or stop by and lets talk. The event starts around 5, but most people will not get here untill 6ish. And it'll go on untill we run out of drinks.

 

I'll do my best to come by on Friday... If I can't make it I'll post here and I'll meet with you another time. When I say creative, I guess what I really mean is any way to install it so it doesn't look out of place, looks cool... I saw a couple of people on here posted pics, one used the ash tray and one the center console, both of those I like using the way they are... so I'm looking for something else... not sure what or how... but it has to look good and I'm not sure I want it prominently displayed on the dash either... I'm going to look at the radios today and see what sizes etc are available... I really want one that is portable, can be used in car, work and house... got to get my $$ worth if I'm going to subscribe!!! :D

I don't get it. Why put a LOUD sound system into a performance car that is very quiet? Unless that is you just want to sound like those boom boxes at a stop light!
