Another question about moving to Irvine

Well, it's official now and I will be moving to Irvine in a few short weeks.

Since I don't have time for a house (or in this case, apartment) finding trip, I wanted to ask all of you SoCal'ers a quick question.

I have pretty much narrowed down the apartment to Villa Coronado in Irvine. I have a pretty big dog so my choices are relatively small. Has anyone lived there or know anyone who has that could give me some real life experience?

Or if anyone knows of a nice complex around the Spectrum Center that takes large dogs, I am more than willing to listen!

Thanks!

Chris

Never lived in Irvine although I worked there for about 5 years. Great city though. I'm sure you will like it.

You may be better off getting a rental house from a private party instead of a complex. Having a dog is going to be a hurdle. As an animal lover myself, I have had to face the reality of "the great search". As long as your pocket book can handle it, there are a ton of cool places out here. Just remember a commute over 20 miles takes FOREVER. But within 20 miles of Irvine, you got plenty of cool cities. Pull out a map and start the internet search.
www.ocregister.com is a great place to start. Some people also advertise in thepennysaver.com
