ne one live in/near the 805 area? and if so..does ne one know of a autoshop here that does aftermarket stuff for the car whether its import/domestic/euro?

nothing right now..just wondering..i won't be getting anything done until i get back from japan ne ways..i've got a friend thats gonna get his exhaust and headers done wen he gets back from africa..he's got a TC btw..camarillo..so is that near oxnard or sumthing? im new here in this area...well..i guess u can say california..do ever goto meets or nething? i've been looking around on this forum..and i can't find ne by this area or malibu..either that im just overlooking them

 

I'm guessing you are in the military. I'm station at Point Mugu Air base actually. Camarillo is the next town south of Oxnard.

the 76 is at Las Posas road right off the 101 in Camarillo. I will not be able to meet you there since I have to go to LA first to pick some one up before the meet.

i know of a place called highends in ventura (right by the car dealers and toysRus on the other side of the freeway) that sells and does import customization. and they sometimes have some nice cars at their shop that they have done themselves...(wide body 350z, s2k, evo, 1000hp supra...)

im sorry guys..im not gonna be able to go in on this meet ..i live here in oxnard..in the military base? u in the military konig? oh yea..btw..i THINK i might have seen ur rx-8 also..um..2-3 weeks ago..maybe a month ago, at the mazda dealership..wuts it called..Toby Mazda..or sumthing like that..in the service place..me n 2 buddies of mine went to look at it and admire it wen we saw it...lol..thats a clean car u've got!! ne ways..sori bout that guys, i really don't think im gonna be able to go at the meet..maybe another time..and also, is high end an expensive performance shop?

 

no im not in the military. i live in oxnard too though.

my 8 was at the dealership a while back for a oil change and to get a new starter (which i never ended up getting) so it may have been my 8 that you saw there. thanks for the compliments.

high end has very good prices and they are all cool guys, so you shouldnt worry about pricing. i doubt they will be more expensive than any other performance shop out there.

they have experience though, just take a glance at their website and cars and you can see that they know how to do things.

me n my buddy went looking for the HIGHEND shop yesterday..lol kinda lost ourselves with all the houses n stuff, but we eventually found it..saw some nice cars out there! saw a red nsx out there..it was nice! just out of curiosity...do ne of u guys run ur cars? "illegal"/legal drag strip? or on the track?

you just exit the freeway when you see toys R us, make the first left you can make, then you just turn right at the corner where that boot place is and then the highend shop is somewhere along the right side, it is a bit hidden though i agree haha...

oh yeah i remember their red nsx...its niiiiice.

 

drag racing+8= no-no. Now if drag strips had turns it would be a different story.

 

so how was the meet this weekend? sorry i didn't go..it was my girlfriends nease (however u spell it) birthday party over at Olive Garden, then we ended up doing sumthing else after that..so yea..ne ways..maybe u guys could help me out, out of the 2 springs that Teins got, which should i get? i've been going back n forth from their S.TECH springs (their regular green one that give it a 1.5inch drop ) or their HIGH.TECH goldish springs (that are lighter weight and give it a 1inch drop)? and they both are priced at $210
