shoot, it happened again... this time when I was approaching redline in 3rd gear, it started flickering, I backed off, but then it flashed off and on for about 5 seconds, then stayed on solid. so I'm going to swing by autozone tonight and get the codes read and reset. is there anything else you can think of that would cause it? I'm wondering now when the last time was I got up to redline in 3rd gear... might have been a while.

 

No, its just the misfire. It is usually meaningless - especially if you don't feel a stumble.
Just get it read and reset.

It should be transparent. The car outline should be gray if you use the "light" VB skin and off-white if you use "plasma".

Sorry for the delay in posting, and yes, thanks to Sue, MM and Easy for getting the ball rolling on this event.

As we did last year, let's meet again around 10 am on New Year's Day for our little Rotary Romp up South Mountain. Plan is to meet on the North side of the Phoenix Zoo parking lot. The Phoenix Zoo is located between VanBuren and McDowell Road on Galvin Parkway. Departure time will be at approximately 10:30 am for a drive to the top of South Mountain. Leave summit of South Mountain Park around 12:30 to get to F1 by 1 pm for Go Karting, lunch, and door prizes.
