You could download the new Safari for Windows. It is actually nice, if you're running XP. Don't try it with Vista.

Firefox is just fine here, as well.

I gotta grab a pic of my thermo tomorrow. 118° on the patio and 122° in the car on the driveway today.

blah, I don't know what's up with my browser. Sometimes it displays pics, other times it doesn't. I think it doesn't like me.

You'll love a garage, Todd. I don't have to put up a shade now! The car is so much cooler and it stays outta the sun, keep that paint fresh!

Well, if you would stop towering over it, screaming "You suck!" and "You are not WORTHY!" it might stop cowering long enough to actually do what it is supposed to do!

Premix! Get your Premix here!

I've got some extra bottles of Idemitsu rotary pre-mix here.
I paid $5 a bottle for the stuff, so that's the price.
8 oz per fill-up is the recommended dilution. That is what I use. Most people can probably get by with less, depending on how much your '8 or '7 already uses via the OMP.
8 oz gets you 8 tanks worth of oil. For me, that is almost two months of normal driving.

This stuff is the best option for pre-mix, and its cheaper than RP, which is what I've been using until this stuff finally got here.

How many bottles are you willing to part with? I have 20 buck burning a whole in my pocket, can you bring them to chickenwafers this Saturday?

Well, if you take 4, that is the end of this order since Karl is taking the other 4 (and I'm keeping 4).
Just let me know when I'm gonna see you next and I'll throw them in the trunk.

If there is anyone else that wants the stuff, I'll order another case.

I thought all Espilir stuff was green? That is how it was at SEMA, anyway.
Maybe they didn't want to be confused with Tein anymore.

Maybe they are all green now, but mine are red. I still have the box (which shows blue ones, but says red on it), too. One ride in Sanguine Dark's car (aka Jesse and seemingly long gone) and I was hooked! Vivid Racing did them for me.

Then, I had the car all aligned, and went home. It was a long afternoon that day but Wow, what a trip home!

After that came the 19" wheels, the 35 series tires, and I was done, so I thought. Then came the exhaust and intake. Now, I am done.

Jeff I'll take the oil If Scott doesn't want. Hey Scott- willing to split it with me (2 quarts for you, 2 quarts for me?)

The mod party is on Sunday, too. DOn't show up on Saturday, I'll sho you away!

I also think me and Jeff are the lowest members of SbSS. I actually think my car might be lower riding than Jeff's, but his MS front is lower.

NO, NO, MINE, MINE!!!

Bust seriously I'll split it with you, just figured if I got four I wouldn't have to deal with it for a while.

Jeff I can I have dibs on 2 quarts on the next batch if I give two of mine to Dave?

Opps, I know its sunday, just a brain fart.

Put me down for some MM, as I might start this regimen with the new engine.
And, my springs are RED.

I think pre-mix is an absolute necessity in this motor. Mazda screwed the pooch.
I don't care what the nay-sayers think. Pre-mix only has positive benefits when combined with routine maintenance and occasional de-carboning.

With red springs, you'll match my suspension. I think the drop is about the same on those.

how are you accurately measuring your premix, Jeff? Do you carry a specific pre-measured amount around in your trunk or do you just guess?

CW, I just got a small case of Protek-R and it comes in 4 oz bottles. Otherwise I would be encouraging MM to be our lubricant 'dealer'. I assume that this stuff comes in similar bottles.

Now that I have said that, heard anything about Protek-R MM? Positive or negative.

I may keep the cute little bottles and refill them. I got tired of guessing how much I was pouring out of the quart bottles.

I'm pretty sure it is talked about in the pre-mix thread somewhere on this forum.

I think just about any synthetic or, at least, semi-synthetic oil is going to do the trick as long as it is smokeless at the desired concentration.
The Idemitsu has the advantage of including a detergent package that most of the other oils wont have.

I just guess, more or less.
The bottle is calibrated in 4 oz increments, so I just pour two notches (8 oz) into the empty tank and call it a day.
Lately, I've been filling it on a half tank, so I only add 4 oz for that 7 gallons.
That is around 200:1.
The OMP delivers about 400:1, so I figure I'm actually getting about 150:1, give or take, which is the maximum you can go before you start to run into octane dilution problems.
That all assumes that the OMP is doing its thing, and I am suspect of that.
