Hey there MM. This car show, as well as the one you'll hear about at 'The Pavillions' or 'Pavs' is just a weekly gathering of car enthusiasts from classic to rice and everything nice I've only been to this location once and it was last year. I recall it was hot-rods. Either way, these are nothing formal, not anything organized or a competition etc. It's an excuse to to hang out looking at whatever and whoever shows up in a parking lot, sweating to the heat and chillin.

is this only gonna be RX8's? or is this like a Pavillons thype thing for the west side?

Yes it's like Pavs but much much smaller - lots of hot rods when I went before. RCCAZ is the Rotary Car Club of AZ which is who this invitation to go and hang out together is for. It's all rotaries so it's 8s, all the different gen 7's and the trucks and the 4 if that guy brings his. Basically it's an excuse to see each other during the hot night since we're not driving for a few months. Paid members will get their membership t-shirts and we get to set the schedule for the rest of '06.

There will be a 2nd Hot Summer Nights later this summer (Sept I think) at the Pavs which is bigger.

 

That could be FUN! Hey we do activies in all parts of the valley you know The Tuscon trip had us out your way! F&F3 is a GREAT idea!

 

well lets see ,,,,it seems pretty far to me.
I think we'll hold the record for who had to drive the farthest.

 

P.S. don't ask me to hold any parking spaces for you all.

Pool said it was smaller! There is plenty of parking. And the nearest reservation is at Pavs.

It will be easy to find each other, without cruising for 20 minutes.

Could it be much farther? Hmmm, not until they get some shopping built at Lake Pleasant! Of course, it is an easy reach for me.

Hey, let me know the next time you head out to Pavs, and I will brave the speed camera guantlet (sp?) and go too. That will keep our travelling time balanced some!

As I said, I love being out at night here in the desert. Most of the places I went when I was young are subdivisions now.
