best intakes are the mazdaspeed, aem or racing beat with duct........ all true cold air

k&n just sucks in hot engine bay air and just makes a loud sound

 

yea id stay away from the k&n, i personally would get the AEM, the MS is the AEM with Mazdaspeed name on it. AEM is cheaper and you can get it in polished, red, or blue.

 

aftermarket intakes are useless, just stick with oem. i mean useless, unless you want sound.

i had the K&N remember? everyone kept saying stay away from it, youll loose power, well the reality is that you probably wont even notice the difference!

 

Yeah, I agree... It would definitely give you the sound and + or - 1hp.

 

well theres alot of variables to concider when talking about hp in a cold air....

youll get better responce from a 65-70 degree day then a 95-100 and other things but yeah 2-3 not 1

 

i have mazdaspeed intake on my car love the sound and great location .
