Did you call them up and ask them about it? I wouldn't go lambasting a vendor before getting the full story... just my 2 cents. If I know Dan and Rob, there's an explanation for the difference.

Not to mention Huff is always good about helping out RX8Club members. He ALWAYS suggests you call him first.

But even still, their pricing is their prerogative. If you don't like their price, find someone else. That is how capitalism works. In this case, though, I'd call Huff first, as he might be willing to meet or beat that price.

Yah I would just call vivid. Those guys are very straight. Kinda like newegg for computers.... sometimes its a buck or two more, but the service is never lacking. As far as the 150 dollar difference, maybe the price has changed or there was a typo or something.

If you think a vendor is overcharging then it hurts nothing to call them up, explain the price difference and ask them why they charge more. It could be for a number of legitimate reasons such as: haven't updated website, vendor now charges less, additional items included, or different item altogether.

However in my case I've called VividRacing about two different items and they were unwilling to meet or beat the best price I found. [shrug]

Support has been pretty light on the Forum since Huff left also... they used to be awesome.

Huff is still around and yes the Vivid support here has been less that desireable. (sp?)
Now if we can just train the ones that are taking his place I think we'll be ok.

We will make change of the price. This was not intentionally done. We apologize.

Thank you

Question

Hey VividRacing,
I ordered a Borla Exhaust from you guys on October 4th. It was a Borla Exhaust system. Just curious but I recieved an email notice that my order is processing. I haven't recieved anything saying it has been shipped so i was just curious if the item was back ordered or what. I don't mean to sound anxious if I do. :o

Anyhow thanks again and thanks for supporting the board.
