The larger PWR aluminum radiator is designed to improve the cooling efficiency of the car over the stock one. The PWR is thicker in the core size and the aluminum end tanks as well as the body help in maximizing efficiency. Generally with the PWR we sell the temperatures drop substantially on the factory gauge. Cooler running car means increase in performance and horsepower.

does anyone have this radiator installed on their 8? i woudl really be interested in hearing how it effects teh temps of the engine. since 70% of the cooling or so is from teh readiator and engine collent and only 30% from the engine oil..i woudl imagine a nice well built efficeint radiator woudl help out a lot..especially on a rotary.

ps. sorry for the speelign i'm an engineering major not an english one

Yeah when we're talking about gains what sort of gains are there? Significant or just a bonus. Also would there be better gas mileage with it breathing better?

there wouldn't be and mpg difference going off of my understanding of how things work..your engine woudl stay cooler so it woudl last longer...if you had FI then it might add hp..adn thus worse mpg...b/c FI likes cooler engines..but how much who knows..no one i knwo of has a turbo/supercharger in their 8 yet. But i would liek to knw ohow much of a temp difference there is.
