thanks vivid racing!!
man i was amazed how fast FEDEX ground was! took 12 hours on the ground and my parts were here!
i had to get my wife to install the K&N typhoon intake kit (to bond with her/my car). she installed it with no problems and we heard the new sound of it. the car seemed to have more throttle response. the exhaust had a new tone too! kinda strange!
then the idle was sitting a bit low but i understand its the computer learning the new setup.
after we did the intake, we let the car cool down from testing and we went on to the B&B exhaust. man those rubber boots SUCK BAD! i hate those things with a passion. i spent an hour just trying to undo all of them. i ended up having to take a hacksaw to the exhaust to take the flow tube off. once we mounted the new exhaust, it took us 10 minutes and it was in. man this exhaust can make some serious noise! it does remind me of a porshe sound but louder. we took it for a test drive and that exhaust can scream!
maybe its just me but it didnt seem like it had that full take off like a bat out of hell feeling when i drove it though. perhaps the computer is still learning everything?
anyways hats off to vivid racing! thanks for your business and cant wait to do it again!

Sounds like you and the wife had a fun install day. Talk about quality family time! There is a day or two window when the PCM will adjust to the intake and exhaust. I don't have the exhaust finishers in stock, I have to get them from the dealership. If your worried about burning or melting your bumper, don't. You won't harm it in the least. I don't even have soot build up arount the tips at all.

cool! i took my car for the M flash today and they were impressed with the upgrades i did to the car.
when do you think u will get the exhaust finishers in? can you get me some? my wife wants some because they look nice. also she wants them because i cracked the exhaust exit spot where it sticks out (the body kit inside under the muffler tip) LOL! she didnt tell me to stop cuz it was rubbing on it. oh well!
