I've been driving it for 2 months as well, I havent installed extended hangers, they burnt the tip a bit, put not to much. as for clearance, I hear the spring bolt hit on my heatshield once in a while in really bumpy road (and god knows we got the worst road up north in quebec). Im brigning her in to replace my brake this week, ill have a look at the hangers welds spot, but havent noticed anything last time I checked.
im thoughtoutly happy with the exhaust, the tone really calmed down since the original start up with the RP/cat-back combo. almost half less noisy, but still loud lol, but alot more comfortable on the highway.
Personally I had my mind prepared for some unexpected disagreement when I took the decision to buy an aftermarket exhaust, but in no way I would "Not recommend" it to any S2 owners.

1. Did you install the race pipe?

I was gonna order this..until I went into the final steps and saw that it was over $200 to ship for me 
I really wanted it too! Doesn't look like I'll be getting this exhaust. Will be checking out what local options are available. I understand there's a more expensive cost to ship to Hawaii, but 40%+ of the original cost is too much for me personally.
One of the few things that suck about living in Hawaii I suppose..ah well. Pulled the trigger on new suspension parts to make myself feel better
