New Esmeril Racing Standard Turbo Kit Released-$3995!!!

NEW TURBO KIT RELEASED!!!

Aimed at potential Greddy customers, this kit allows you to surpass numbers that the Greddy turbo kit can only dream of while spending no more. It provides excellent drivability and instant boost giving the RX-8 that much needed torque at the lower end of the power band.

This is the perfect turbo kit for Autocross with a fat torque curve and lots of area under the curve from 2500rpm to redline.

We looked at the market and saw a need for an entry level turbo kit with the following criteria:
  • 280-350whp capable out of the box.
  • Easily upgradeable to the HP kit (Coming Soon!).
  • Cobb accessible with adapter kit (Coming Soon!).
  • Greddy competitive pricing.
  • Super quick spooling, 2000-2500rpm.
  • Good power band in the upper RPM range (lots of area under the curve).
  • Based on the same great platform as our original HP Kit.
  • Garrett turbocharger.

We are offering this kit at a price of $3995.00!!!! Unheard of!

For more information and to purchase click here:

PM, Email for more info.

Thanks for looking!

Will the Cobb adapter work with the ver. 4.0 kit I just bought during your sale in May?

We are currently developing the proper MAF intake adapter for the Standard Turbo Kit so that a Cobb or other OEM tuner could be used and plan to have it out by mid July. Once we prove it out on the Standard Kit we will begin working on adapting it to the HP kit.

You will however need to keep in mind that the Cobb/OEM ECU may have its limitations above 400whp. This and the intake pipe will be 3.5" Dia which is slightly smaller than the turbo inlet on the HP kit. If your plan is to keep it around that level then I believe it will be ok. It still needs to be proven before we make any claims regarding the HP kit. We do feel comfortable that it will work amazingly well on the Standard Kit.

Best regards,

Chris

We basically downsized/simplified some of the components in the kit along with some changes that reduced the actual manufacturing hours.

The Main Changes are the following:
  • Smaller Turbo - Non Billet
  • 2.5" piping all around instead of 3.0" on throttle side.
  • We don't pre-wrap the Manifold/Down pipe. (Customer will have to provide wrap, we do include OMP heat shielding)
  • We use modified OEM injectors instead of including custom 1000cc ones (you will have to send us yours in exchange or pay a core charge)
  • We include a 255lph pump instead of the 340lph Aeromotive one now used on the HP kit.
  • Same Manifold/DP as the HP kit for interchangeability.
We also optimized our processes to reduce costs here and there. We then went further and slightly reduced our profit margins with the purpose of making FI more available to anyone that has an 8. This all worked to allow us to offer a full kit at this price. We are unsure if it will remain at this price so take advantage.

Best regards,

Chris

Apparently 350whp can be achieved with the standard kit and you would only need to upgrade to go above that. I would have been all over this had i not bought a greddy kit yesterday

standard: up to 350hp
Hp version 4: kit itself is good for over 500hp.. just depends if your engine internals can take it.

Correct me if I'm wrong Chris..

yup for the price this is looking 1000 times better than the greddy kit which by itself is just good for 280-300 whp and then needs a lot of work to make it good.

I'm getting antsy! I'll know the summer job status soon.

How much PSI is the waste gate spring set for? 6psi? and what hp/tq are you expecting at that boost level?

Can you be more specific other than smaller turbo?
or are you still testing?

that aside this is a really good deal, you have pretty much addressed the reasons i chose to build my own kit, had this been available in January I might have bought it
