Yes Chachos still serves the monsterous King Kong Nachos.
I think Chachos would be one of the better places to seeing our size, cheap, good, and alcohol.
@Creto- I messaged steve a week or two ago and have not received anything back regarding what the DFW crew wanted to do. We dont have Main Event, but we have Dave and Buster's but I think thats kinda lame seeing as they have those everywhere. But its up to the majority what we do so input porfavor.

How far is it from the hotel? That is my main concern, besides being reasonable, space, and good.

If you dont get responses from Steve you can send me PM's as well as emails. I tend to be a bit better about checking those line of communications.

I spoke with Steve about setting up dinner on Saturday at BIGZ, its a burger joint not too far from the hotel. I have already inquired about being able to reserve the back patio for a 20-30 people size group and they have no problems with it, just that if we reserve it then we have to put down a CC so that if we cancel last minute then they will charge a surcharge.

Also for friday night, we were thinking about eating at a mexican restaurant just down the road off of Fredricksburg. After dinner we can take a group downtown for some photo ops, those that want to go ofcourse. And then there is R Bar, we know the owners and it is just down the road from the hotel.... then ofcourse they also serve crazybitches

Burgers & tex-mex!! Can't go wrong there!! As far as after dinner goes, just keep in mind that we will have some under 18's with us so my preference would be that the "official" itinerary stay open to everyone. Just my thought on the matter....

oh yeah.... the official eateries will be open to all ages

the problem with Chacho's is that after 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights you must be 21 or be accompanied by your legal guardian to enter. Not to mention it gets very packed, very fast. I would strongly suggest not doing anything with Chacho's.

As far as R-Bar, that would be something that would be optional for the adults. We hang out there regularly, and will prolly do it whether the whole group goes or not.

Both sound like good choices, but wouldnt it be better to flip the choices? Sat seems like a great time to do a photo op etc hang out... Friday I'd want to be back somewhat early 10-11pm.

Yeah parking at Chachos is a nightmare as well. Didn't think about the age thing but that will be an issue at night.

that would be doable .... i was thinking about doing the photo shoot the first night before we get all the cars nasty from the drive.

I was looking for a place like BIGZ for saturday night to also have the raffle event, since the patio will be reserved just for us

You'd see some clean, some not so clean, depending on where they drove into town from.

Speaking from experience of the last two years, mine hasn't exactly been spotless after driving from DFW, lol.

At least it arrived relatively chipless....unlike some other people's...

Also I didn't 'dibs' Ryan. I reserved a room, called him and asked if he still needed a room. He said yes and I relayed it to the thread so steve can edit the first post.

Also...Chacho's...HELL YES!

Is Chunky's the place that was on "Man vs. Food" on Callaghan? That place is super small bro, like maybe 5-6 tables max. Not sure if they have an outside seating area that would work or not. Greta food though, I actually had a bad *** salad when I went.

Okay, yeah that's the place. Good food but the inside is small. the parking from I remember is okay. I will have to swing by and check it out.
