this website is soo slow because of all the flash advertisements. this website is starting to look like a major league ball park with ******* banners everywhere and HUGE drop down banners that don't allow you to exit out of them as they bring you to another ******* window. and those God damn bing search icons everywhere that pop up with every time you search. this site is starting get get rediculous.

at least someone is enjoying it. whoever gets the checks.

Ive had to reload everything I've clicked on for the past half hour or so just to get it to load. Multiple times on occasion. Just keeping this updated, it is still an issue.

I have an add-on called no Script, which blocks all the flash stuff, still takes forever... sometimes.

I have linux (Sabayon) and I simply turn off adobe flash and it seems to work way faster, and on top of that I get barely any adverts, just blank boxes. Instead of 5-10 seconds it's under 1sec.

I feel it has always been slower than almost all other forums. it takes much longer to load completely. and often you don't see half the forum till it's almost completely loaded. gets frustrating.

Using Firefox 3.5.4, no add-ins, this site is slow on both 15mb/sec cable modem and our OC3 office connection. Even as I type this, the "Transferring data from www.rx8club.com..." message is hanging on the message bar.

Time of day doesn't seem to influence the slow/ incomplete page loads.

one thing that appears slower is when I actually hit 'post reply', doesn't seem nearly as quick as it used to be.

edit: nvm, seemed fine on this last post.

from start to finish chrome says this took 6.48 seconds to load. Other than the PHP script itself (which took 4.32 seconds to load) the worst offend of the loading time is expand_main_table.gif. it took 1.92 seconds by itself to load.

It seems like it's a dead link anyway to that image, unless it's generated during page load so that could be part of the load time issue, bad links that it's waiting for some response.

i ditto the fact it is slow and it is not my connection--for sure. reminds me of the days of dial up.
It used to not be this way.

Yep, I agree...................slow!
Work or home, I'm on a fast connection in both places and same result....................slow!
All other sites appear to be okay.
