I joined this site about a month ago, and found it very informative. However it seems like many of the posts and replys are nothin but complaining. People leaving little cartoons for "searches"-----------lame. Whatever happened to wow what a great car, all the great attention the 8 gets,the awesome drving expirence. Instead we got people trying to get class actions over squealing brakes!!!Maybe there should be a whole section for complaining???????I hope I don't offend anyone it's just my opinion, I would like to see more positive feedback about our GREAT cars thats all. Probably going to get "flamed" in cool forum speak, but oh well had to share.

Oh and I already know there are threads on some of the above topics but the search is a royal pain in a** to go over all the neagative threads to maybe find a positive one.

Use the negative threads as a learning experance :D and enjoy your 8 even more. Use the DIY's as they will help to protect your 8.

Personally, I prefer threads with complaints about the car over threads that complain about the complaints about the car.

It's hard a year later to talk the same way about the car. It's like when you get in a relationship. At first the person seems perfect. Then over time you find out their nuances. We aren't talking about how pretty the car is now. We're talking about putting body kits on it. We aren't talking about how well it handles as a stock car. We're talking about how to make the handling better. We aren't talking about how powerful the car is. We are talking about how to give it more power.

At some point the reality sets in that while, yeah, it's a great car, it's a great car for a stock car. At some point OTHER people get used to seeing '8s and they don't complement us on what a cool car it is. Eventually every car will be just another car to everyone who doesn't own one.

As far as class action lawsuits... I never read it. I tend to not read the threads where people are bitching.

And, to answer your question "where did the info go?"... The people who are posting the "lame" " little cartoons for "searches"" know where it is. While, granted, you might ask where is the NEW info, I would reply that you are clicking on the wrong threads. Apparently, you are opening only the threads that are bitching or have already been covered enough that people know it's been talked about, and never the ones with new info. Perhaps, you should look again. There is always good info being shared.

Eventually that will stop. There is only a finite amount of information in the universe. Once we get it all on RX8Club, there will be little to talk about but what we did that day.

it's too bad that my comments got moved here. no one will notice it then realize that when making cartoons and not answering the question at hand is ignorant and bitching there faces off will continue till I never "LURK" again. sorry but it is really annoying when trying to obtain useful information and all you come across are self-proclaimed smart *** nerds with too much time making snooty comments and not coughin up the info. then ya gotta spend even MORE time sifting through even more threads bout rattles and brake dust.

sorry should have used more appropriate language and no name callin----don't get me wrong this site is much better than Nissanfourms.com OH MAN now that site is the WORST. I used to have a spec-v sentra (big mistake) and nothin but know it all teenagers bashin eachother over how much better an aftermarket turbo is on a GXE than a crappy spec-v. This is a great site but I just wish it was a tad easier to get info thats all.
