Lightbulb Web Page to Supplement Forum

After the forum went through its changes I was wondering if there will be a web page built around the forum. It could be a good addition to the site. For instance, people new to the boards and the Rx-8 in general could have a place to look up general information on the car. There could be a page for specs, issues, TSBs, buying options, and other topics of importance. This way when a new user joins the boards they do not have to sift through endless, outdated pages for simple general information. It would also be more concentrated than the forums reducing search time.

Also, if someone writes a good article on the forum it could be posted on the site in an archive of sorts. For example, if someone writes up a good article on why the car gets low MPG, instead of Searching through 1000 threads with 5000 posts on MPG you can go to an archive page and find it that way.

Another Reason I think a web space would be a good idea is to summarize the progress of long project threads. I visit the forum often but only for short periods of time. I try to keep up to date on a couple of project threads like a couple of the turbo projects and the "adding aux ports to the stereo" project that has been going on in the audio/electronics section. There are many other threads in the forum that I would like to read only I don't have enough time to get through them. If there was a web page though, these long threads could be summarized and updated when a major breakthrough occurs. Plus all the little flame wars, off topic discussion, and "I want one" type posts need not be included.

Finally, it could be a good navigation tool. It could point to the different forum sections, it could be connected to the Rx-7club forum and any other forum Ryan manages, it could link to Mazda's site, and any other site that seems Rx-8 worthy.

Thank you for reading my suggestion and I hope there is some interest in this.
I think it would at least make Rx8club.com a more user friendly place for those who have little spare time and for new members.
