Any way to increase the number of PM's I can send at one time? I'm sure it's set to 5 to prevent spammers but isn't 7club's limit 20?

Would have made it a lot easier to send out all those SoCal Caravan Reminders... (think we ended up with almost 55-60 cars )

Couldn't it be setup where it defaults to 5...and it won't allow more until the user has say 10 - 20 posts?

 

Thanks Abbid! I think Angel is right: Lets have it default to 5 and over time it can increase based on post count or time spent on this forum, or even by individual requests to mods / admins.

 

hmmm im not fond of the idea for exactly the same reason abbid posted- spammers. and we've had them in the past already.

 

But I'm not a spammer.

Does the website allow admins to adjust individual limitis for members? I definitely think that 5 is a great default number to help against spammers but maybe a little extra for certain members. (case by case basis)

no . we'd have to set up more categories of users and give each category a different amount. like newbie, junior member , member, senior member etc or piston , 10a, 12 a , 13b, 20b, 26b

im going to change it so no dice can only send pms to one person. then every once in a while im going to switch who they go to. that way hell never know who his pms are actually going to go to.
