Problem with meta tags?

I tried to use the IMG tag to post a smiley from another site but only the URL showed up, not the image. Something wrong with this script or is it me or what?

If that is the image, it looks like you figured it out... But it does work, so it must be your syntax...

Funny, it didn't work in one thread, so I cut it out and pasted it here and it showed up. Obviously, I didn't change the syntax if I cut-and-pasted. Ah screw it. I'll just come back here if it happens again. Thanks.

I figured out the problem, Robert. In the "Posting Rules" box at the bottom of the page, sometimes the IMG code is turned off. Is this an individual user setting that I have to change when I post to certain sections of the forum, or is that controlled by the mods?
