I guess I need to stop posting my willingness to try new products and post their findings here. That will keep my post count down to keep you happy.

Honestly, some of you get off on telling someone new to the boards that they've reposted and, quite frankly, sometimes it drives me insane. I know I have a only a few posts, but my experience just from reading is that it's almost a 90 percent probability that the first or second response to a new thread started in the performance section will be "OMG! WTF! Repost!!! Holy Shiznit LOLZ what a newb!! Use the search you moron, are you idiot geez!!" or in the best case scenario someone will post warning the "newb" of the impending flaming. I've come to conclusion that half the time this happens the guy behind the screen is just some insecure clod trying mimick others he thinks are setting the proper example. You have to realize that not everyone is tech savvy, and someone joining the forums may be joining an online community for the first time and could possibly..... get ready for it...... not know how to use the search function (Breathe, it's ok, not everyone is perfect). Hell, if I recommended a community site for my grandfather to find information on his classic BMW he may not ever want to surf the web again. Just venting, however I do agree, to a certain extent, with the author of this thread. It took some brass to say something to this occassionally hostile crowd. Oh yeah, flame on!!

Haha, I kid, I kid. Anywho, yeah, well if people came into a restaurant and started screaming, "I WANT CHICKEN AND POTATOES" people would tell him to shut the hell up. The problem is people don't expect to have to understand etiquette when it's in the online world. It's just a post. If someone "flames" you, get over it and learn from your mistakes. Take that anger you feel for the flamer and turn it into something positive by explaining to someone who gets flamed by other people what they should do next time. Circle of life.

Ha! At least you guys aren't as hostile as some of the people from newtiburon. Not to be offensive to those owners (I loved mine), but it seems that the Tiburon is accessible to those who lack maturiy (just a minority mind you).

Yeah, I know exactly who you mean with etiquette or lack thereof in the online world. I have yet to be seriously flamed, although I feel it may be short in coming, but I feel bad for some people. They could be like someone in my family, nearly computer illiterate and just looking for some quick info. It feeds someone's ego I guess, so I guess I'll give them the satisfaction derived from being an *** through a cable.

It's like they come in asking if the place has burgers without bothering to look at the menu which is right in front of them.

The idea is to read, and if the information isn't available, ask.

Sorry, but people need to learn netiquitte, especially Newbies

Aww come on, now you're just trying to antagonize me . To answer your question, no it does not count towards my post count.

Man, this thread it better than the lounge.

I wish there were a script that would snap the mouse cursor from the "Post New Thread" button to the "Search" button for users with less than 500 posts. It would really clean up a lot of the clutter. XD
