wtf is going on here? why on earth are the mods/admin yelling at the forum members? Please just take one second and put yourself in our shoes. I'm not targeting just you zoom, but the people in charge around here have just turned rude. i didnt tell a forum member to chill i told Kevin to chill. he's my freind and i was irritated by his comment.

So thank you to Ike and Jeff for the heads up. The error has been found by Omicron and corrected.
The irritation on my part comes from several peoples assumption that something nefarious was happening and users were being left in the dark on purpose. Then others egging them on. That's really low and and i take it as RUDE on your parts. Take one second and put yourselves in MY shoes. and im not targeting you RSD. Look at how rude the comments are to us. Everyone jumping ont he bandwagon of how much it sucks and how stupid we are and how you'll hate to have to pack up and leave.
next time something like this happens how about we all take a deep breath then contact each other (like IKE and MM did) and ask whats going on instead of hurling accusations around. The issue can be handled sooner without all this angst. No one is purposely trying to ruin anyones experience here. except for perhaps Razpewton's

And please don't take my statement on having to leave as a threat. I am fully aware that our Chicago group is a mere pittance in the scope of the forum. I was just trying to illustrate that this request was not for the sole reason of correcting spelling mistakes.
I personally have never tried to incite any type of problem or stage a coup against the mods/admin of this site. I just have not understood why when people ask a simple question (in PM or other form) why it is taken as a slight. My role as Switzerland has obviously worn thin here, and I apologize if my posts are considered rude or somehow insinuate that you are stupid. It has never been my intent. All I've asked for are some answers to questions so that I can explain to our new members before they take a hike.

I too stated (twice) that we are looking into it. It caught many of the mods by surprise as well and a bunch of us don't like it either. Just give us a chance to work it out instead of complaining about it all day and sending out accusations. That won't speed it up. It definitely wasn't something that was done to punish anyone and no one was singled out.
FWIW: Not one person has ever sent me a heads up asking me about anything. I may only be a lowly mod and not an admin but I can still look into things if someone has an issue and can't get an answer on it.

I am sorry if i misconstrued your statement "you will only force us to use another forum to keep our meets in" your involvement in the chicago area meets is generous and appreciated by all. I dont have nearly the involvement in my local scene and i should.
