i am completely dumbfounded. whats so wrong with saying crossfire? how can anyone be sensitive to the mere mention of a car? does he/she own one and reaaaallllly dislike people "bagging on it".

I went though a period last year where, apearently, a well-known administrator of this site took to deleting my content nearly completely - he even excised my individual posts in certain threads. He then proceded to accuse me of deleting them.
I don't think I ever posted anything about "crossfire" in my entries, but one never knows, do one.

 

 

He or she got caught in a web of lies and hypocrisy which the Crossfire was partially involved in. Flame fests ensued, and then some tears and whinning bagged warnings for anyone involved in the flame fest about saying Crossfire to this person.

The following comment is totally in jest and just a personal comment. I totally support the Mods of RX8Club and TSA. This kinda reminds me of the signs in the security line at airports that say something like "Any comment, thought, sign language, burp or fart, that sounds like, could be interpreted as, or rhymes with the word "bomb" will get you promptly striped photographed, barked at by a dog with sharp teeth, and probed in cavities that are NOT located in your mouth."
