The forum should place alimit on the size of owners car pictures.
I have seen a Black BMW pictue over and over on this RX-8 forum.

This BMW is on 200 plus messages... Can the obnoxious size of non RX-8 phots be limited?

 

So are you saying only obnoxious size RX-8 sig photos should be allowed?

I think ANY sig photo should have limitations.. Usually webboards don't have a specific res, it's done by common sense and respect for other readers. I do agree that this bmw sig pic is too large though. What do you think of mine?

Just go into USER CP and turn off SIGNATURES.

 

I like azn and he has a lot of intelligent comments to add, but I tend to agree, I'd much prefer if the sigs were restricted. I like having the sigs there however, so I can see what other people ordered, or have some sort of other recognition and individuality, but 400x300 pics are a bit much...

 

And as of now that 400x300 picture has appeared 308 times...kinda an over exposure...

 

It's more than just sig photos. Attached images should also be limited so they don't invoke horizontal scroll bars. Notice how you end up having to scroll left and right to read all the messages that follow Tennis or ping-pong anyone?

Per chance, does the forum software have an auto-resizing function for images

This is a RX8 site, last time I checked.

 

Tribal has been asked by the mods to reduce his sig size by PM but no response thus far. We can simply shut off his sig capability but I'd like to give him the chance to resize it or have someone do it for him.

Is somebody viewing in 640X480 or 800X600?

The only thing worse than "large" owners car pictures is seeing the same guys mug on every page.

 

How about my avatar? You like? :p I didn't realize that so many people feel so strongly about a webboard.. well imo I like seeing different pics/avatars sigs.. It makes it much more personable and varied.. oh well .. shrug..

 

I agree. Just so they are within reason.
I actually don't mind the big sig pics because I have DSL and I'm running high resolution.

 

don't be hating. Rx-8 should be on top of things all the time on this site, but other cars deserve respect 2.
