In general, "kill" forums tend to be:
1. filled with bullshit, lies, illegal activity, flame wars, and bullshit.
2. their leading contributors tend to be filled with predominantly the same.
The honest drivers on this forum who try to improve their driving and beat other cars do so at the track. There is a competition/track forum.
The guys who actually are "good" at street racing if one can be good at illegal activities would probably never post a kill thread.
This leaves the teenagers who post threads about beating Ferrari's they've never seen or even THE red srt-4. There isn't a benefit to be had.
So the question is not why Rx8club does not have a "kills" forum but why Rx7club still does. At this stage in the game, it's pretty much Grandfathered into Rx7club.

I killed a souped-up Cavalier in a street race one time. It was awesome!
...and by "killed" I mean "tried to avoid"...
...and by "souped-up" I mean "had stickers and street glow"...
...and by "street race" I mean "the guy was tailgating me and wanted to race, so I made a quick turn to get the hell away from him"...
...and by "awesome" I mean "scary as hell because I thought the kids in the car were going to plow into the trees and die"...
Same thing, really - I'm just splitting hairs now.

A kills section would be nothing but bullshit and lies. I don't street race ofte at all, but if I ever do (big IF), I certainly would not feel the need to run home, log onto RX8club.com and tell everyone how big my ***** is.
A track day is different because (1, you are participating in a legal activiety, (2, your can share track setups and racing lines, (3, and you gain valuable info on how your car will act at the limit. There are A LOT more reasons whqy a track day is good and street racing is not.
Personally, I think a kills section would only attract high schoolers and trolls who would bring this forum down both intellectually and in bandwidth capacity. No thanks

A kills section will turn this forum, which happens to be one of the very few automotive forums that actually has decent people and decent content into the junior high hall bathroom where everyone is hauling out their schwanz and bragging about how big it is.
The "framers of the constitution" (ok, well Boostd) wrote the rules very intelligently, IMHO to keep the dipshits out.

The consensus opinion was "no" and apparently Boostd agreed.

now that they are a lot more FI kits become avalible, and the rx8 will be able to keep up and beat cars like the 350z, so on, and so forth, it wouldnt surprise me in a couple years to see tons of "kills" pop up

Yeah really...that was back when everyone was debating how much the car would cost...what I posted then, is what I feel now:
I completely agree with everyone else. A "Kills" section would be a huge mistake.
I'm not sure how old everyone else is that has contributed to this thread. But I'm 22, and grew up in this obnoxious Honda Civic hot rod era and have flat out hated it.
I'm a purist when it comes to looks, outside of factory cosmetic additions I never like to do anything more. They always draw attention from the wrong people.
My reasons for not wanting a Kills section are the same as why I will not see "The Fast and the Furious." It's all a bunch of BS that responsible enthusiasts don't need.
