Garage Links

Any way to include a link to a users garage in their profile? Reading back it sounds like the profile used to link directly to a garage but I can't find a way to find a persons garage w/o manually searching. And with the thousand or so registered garages that isn't an easy task.

Oh and there are links all around the site to rx8store-dot-net including the vendor advert at the top of the screen. That DNS is owned by some DNS squatters now and people have to go directly to the rx7store-dot-net. Might want to clear that out.

Thanks!

Sad but true. Now with the latest update, garage editing, and existing comments have been removed. Only direct links to garages work......but for how long?

Well that sucks.

Since this is a forum that revolves around cars are there going to be any features that are car related left?

There really needs to be SOME emphasis put on that. Product review wiki's and searchable garages would really, really help people who are visiting here for the sole purpose of learning about or modifying their cars by finding out what people think about products and to find people near them who have already installed mods.

Not real cool that the garages got zapped without any forewarning.

I do not think the new gallery is meant to replace vGarage. And the gallery has no search function

You're welcome. Even though the garage comments already got deleted, I hope the rest of it remains intact.

Ditto. Link is still AWOL. Cookies shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Thanks for trying to fix this Zoom. Still be better if it got upgraded to be more usable but beggars/choosers.

sounds like a priviledges issue? (admin can see, member can't?)
Where is it located for you?

I see:
UserCP --> Register --> FAQ --> Member List --> Calendar --> New Posts --> Search --> Quick Links --> Logout

speaking of which: why do we have Register up there when we're already signed in? Is it possible to get rid of that after we log in? (just a random thought)

Zoom,

I do not see the Garage link either. Not sure where it is but IMO makes sense to add it to the Quick Links drop down.

Also can you ask about adding a search function to the garage and the new gallery? Justing thinking an official would get others and me to stop wondering if anyone is reading our requests

As of 4:34pm(1/29/09)..............Still no garage link on either machine for me(laptop or tower).

Picture thingy works on both.

Just an FYI.....clearing cookies won't help. I think it's a privilege thing.
